PhD and Postdoc Openings in Organic Chemistry

Fully funded PhD and postdoc openings are available in the newly formed Junior Research Group of Dr. Christopher Teskey, located in the Institute of Organic Chemistry at RWTH Aachen, Germany.
We are seeking motivated individuals who are excited at the prospect of helping to establish a new, dynamic team working at the forefront of organic methodology development. Research projects will focus on using visible and UV light for carbon-carbon bond formation and will encompass organic chemistry, catalysis and photochemistry.
Applicants for PhD positions should have a good masters degree in synthetic chemistry. Some experience in synthetic methodology development is preferable but not mandatory. Candidates will receive rigorous training in all aspects of modern organic chemistry.
Applicants for postdoc positions should have, or be about to receive, a PhD in organic chemistry.
A good knowledge of English is essential. Positions will be available from March 2019. Informal enquiries can be sent via email.
