A new postdoctoral research position is available in the laboratory of Theresa T. Lu MD, PhD to examine immune cell-mediated regulation of skin, lymph nodes, and the musculoskeletal system in the context of autoimmune diseases such as lupus, inflammatory arthritis, and scleroderma.

The projects are basic to translational in nature and use disease models as well as patient samples. The work is at the exciting intersection of immunology, vascular biology, mesenchymal cell biology, fibrosis, and rheumatology, and candidates should have experience in at least one of these areas. We are at the Hospital for Special Research Institute/Cornell Medical School in an interactive scientific community that also includes Memorial Sloan Kettering and Rockefeller University. The Hospital for Special Surgery is the Rheumatology and Orthopedic arm of Weill Cornell’s New York-Presbyterian and is ranked #3 in Rheumatology and #1 in Orthopedics in the US by World and News Report.
