Job Description
Immediate opening for a fully funded postdoctoral fellow is available in the Elabd Research Group in the Artie McFerrin Department of Chemical Engineering at Texas A&M University. The project focuses on characterization of polymers using advanced in situ infrared spectroelectrochemical techniques; see references J. Amer. Chem. Soc. 2013, 135, 12818-12826 and J. Phys. Chem. C, 2014, 118, 21846-21855. Applicants should have general experience in polymer physics and electrochemistry. A strong background in polymer characterization, spectroscopy, and experimental electrochemistry is favorable.
The position is for one year and is potentially renewable for a second year. Salary is competitive and includes full benefits. Screening of applicants will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
