The Oxidative Stress and Cell Cycle Research Group http://www.upf.edu/osccg/ at Universitat Pompeu Fabra is interested in studying the components and molecular mechanisms which regulate the responses to oxidative stress and the control of the cell cycle, using the fission yeast Schizosaccharomyces pombe as a model system. We are looking for postdoctoral fellows with a competitive CV willing to apply for a IEF or IIF Marie Curie postdoctoral fellowship to study gene expression in yeast, including regulation of transcription, splicing and translation during (i) G1/S phase of the cell cycle; and/or (ii) adaptation to oxidative stress.
